HDTV is the next generation of television, but not everyone knows it. We, who have experienced it in our homes, are the best spokespersons for it. Only when we express our enthusiasm together does it make a difference in the marketplace. That is why I call our readers TEAM HDTV--the front-line power of the HDTV revolution.

While things are going relatively well today there is a long way to go before HDTV is a sure thing in the main stream. This is a large and diverse mation and HDTV has been struggling to attain its rightful place in it for many years. Hundreds of dedicated people have made considerable sacrifices to carry it when others thought it best fail.

TEAM HDTV... take up this honorable cause with the rest of us and deliver to America a message which says, "Something great is coming." No one should be shut out of this revolution  This is the first of many transformations we need to make in order to guide our way successfully throughout the 21st century. Remember, HDTV is always more then just about TV.
